The Social Feed is designed to be a unified space for all important community announcements, events, and information. Here's a detailed guide on how to use it:
Posting Directly to the TokenTag Feed
As a community manager, you can post directly to the TokenTag feed. This allows you to share updates, announcements, or any other relevant information directly with your community members. To do this:
- Navigate to the Feed tab on TokenTag.
- Click on the post creation area at the top of the feed.
- Write your post. You can include text, links, images, or any other relevant content.
- Once you're happy with your post, click the "Post" button to share it with your community.
Pulling Announcements from Discord and Twitter
TokenTag can automatically pull important announcements and information from your community's Discord and Twitter accounts. This means that any updates you share on these platforms can also be automatically shared with your TokenTag community.
*Twitter is currently a work in progress as we navigate the recent API changes
To set this up:
- Navigate to the Discord section under the Management category.
- Select the specific Discord channels that you want to pull content from.
- Save your settings. From now on, any posts made in the selected Discord channels or on your community's Twitter account will also appear in the TokenTag Social Feed
Interacting with Content
Members of your community can interact with the content in the Social Feed. They can like and comment on posts, allowing for interactive discussions and engagement within the community. As a community manager, you can also interact with posts in the same way, allowing you to engage directly with your community members.
Public Posts
As a community manager, you have control over which posts are made public and shown on your community home page. This allows you to ensure that only the most important announcements and information are visible to everyone.
To make a post public:
- Create a new post or navigate to an existing post that you want to make public.
- Click on the "Make Public" option.
- Confirm your choice. The post will now be visible on the public community page.
